Healthy habits, healthy kids.
Project Kids First (PKF) provides an after school program that is a high-energy workout combining cardiovascular/resistance training and functional training for your child. Our program is designed to help children work on developing cardiovascular/muscular endurance, weight loss, team work and perseverance of physical and mental challenges. The atmosphere created by the class is fun and motivational which fosters a “can do” attitude. No two classes are the same. Kids never get bored and the originality of each workout keeps them excited about participating.
At Project Kids First (PKF) all of the movements are taught safely and effectively under a close supervision. For kids who are new to exercise, our program introduces them to fitness at an early age and makes it easier for them to continue this “healthy habit” for the rest of their lives. For kids who are already exercising or playing sports, our program is designed to help them reach their next level of fitness and improve their performance.
Why should my child work out and exercise?
Childhood obesity is at its highest rate which leads to higher risk of many diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and other health conditions. It’s pertinent that children have a healthy, active lifestyle in their early ages which will also benefit them from when they grow into an adult. However, such words as “fat” or “weight loss” have no place in our program. Instead, we encourage embracing healthy habits.
